I am an avid amateur photographer and beside my family, I have an eclectic set of interests including local history, architecture, cemeteries, heraldry, vexillology, genealogy, community theatre, military, agriculture, etc.I am married to the love of my life, Bill, and between us, in our blended family, we have a daughter, four sons, a granddaughter and two grandsons.
I work in local government for a neighbouring City.
I am a country boy at heart and a “once & future” farmer. I was previously the co-owner of a blueberry farm where we also raised swine, goats, chickens and turkeys. My ultimate dream is to do that again but on a larger scale.
I was born in Ontario but have lived in the west since I was a toddler and consider myself a “Western Canadian”.
